Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage

Dancing Rabbit is a 55 member ecovillage set in the rolling hills of northeastern Missouri. Started in 1994 with the intention of creating a true village of 500-1,000 as a demonstration of what is possible for sustainability, today Dancing Rabbit is a thriving mini village that embodies many of the values and lessons that the Gaia Education curriculum highlights. With Dancing Rabbit as our primary backdrop for the course, our work together will be grounded in the day to day living of sustainability and the playful, experimental energy of this community.
